Marc Rovner, Attorney, East Rockaway

A native of East Rockaway, New York, attorney Marc Rovner pursued his bachelor's degree at Boston University. Majoring in political science, he made the dean's lists eight consecutive semesters, earned the Political Science Award for achieving the highest grade point average in his class, and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts. Subsequently, Marc Rovner gained acceptance to the university's School of Law. In preparation for his career as an attorney, he earned a juris doctor with cum laude distinction.

Today, Marc Rovner leads as general counsel and director of business development at BETA Abstract, LLC, in Oceanside, New York. As a senior staff lawyer, he oversees the multimillion-dollar title insurance company's business development in the states of New York, Florida, and New Jersey. Also responsible for managing the firm's legal department, he has garnered such professional honors as an Excellence Award recognizing achievement in claims prevention from the Stewart Title Insurance Company Foundation and a Client Service Award from Commonwealth Title Insurance Company.
